Every year Delicious Living chooses the best new natural food & beverages and our Lemon Ginger Black Sparkling Tea came in first place in the "Best Fizzy Drink" category! "Now you can sip Bhakti Chai’s signature, spicy, gingery blend with a side of bubbles. April 2016: Best of Boulder 6th Year in a Row!

Chai is delicious. It can be fiery and explosive, or smooth and creamy. You can drink it hot, and you can drink it cold. You can drink them in a mug, or you can drink it on a rug. You can drink them with a friend, or you can drink it until it meets its end. Yikes, that took a grisly turn. But there’s no better drink to consider moments both grisly and joyous than chai. And our readers say there’s no better chai in Boulder County than Bhakti Chai. And who can blame them? This local company brews up delicious chai, enjoyable cold or warm. It’s used by baristas, and sold in the grocery store. It’s everywhere, and it’s wonderful. Read more...

April 2015: Bhakti Chosen as “Best Chai” 5th Year In a Row

For the 5th year in a row, Bhakti has been the reader's favorite chai.  The right cup of chai can take you on an adventure. While Bhakti is based in Boulder, every drink instantly transports you to the colorful world of India. That’s no surprise, since founder Brook Eddy was inspired to start Bhakti after she traveled to India in 2002 and fell in love with the spicy, black tea and ginger drink. And it doesn’t hurt that behind the drink, the business is dedicated to social consciousness, meaning their product has no preservatives, is fair trade, gluten-free, vegan and non-GMO.

“Fresh, fiery and Fair Trade” Boulder-based Bhakti Chai is so good (and packaged in glass!). The word Bhakti means “devotion through social action” and it’s clear that they are committed to fulfilling that promise. They donate a portion of their annual earnings to support women and girls through a handful of groups. Fun fact: Bhakti microbrews their batches of chai using 4k pounds of organic ginger each week. They’re B-Corp and Fair Trade certified as well as Non-GMO Project verified. My favorite way to drink Bhakti is by mixing half of the Original Blend with half of the less-sweet Toasted Almond Coconut Blend, because the sugar content in the Original is far too sweet for me. I’d like to see Organic certification in the future.
